I currently work as a Data Analyst in the food and beverage industry. In my role, I use Microsoft Office and Python to analyze sales trends, cost menu items, and perform variance analysis on food and beverage products. I also track staff KPIs.

WHICH INDUSTRY OR SECTOR IN AFRICA DO YOU BELIEVE HAS THE GREATEST UNTAPPED POTENTIAL FOR DATA & AI, AND WHY?
I believe the sector in Africa with the greatest untapped potential for data is finance. If people understood how their early decisions affect their long-term lives, they would begin planning earlier. Currently, financial literacy is low, so when people start businesses, they often fail to make provisions for the future and are unable to plan effectively.
