WHICH INDUSTRY OR SECTOR IN AFRICA DO YOU BELIEVE HAS THE GREATEST UNTAPPED POTENTIAL FOR DATA & AI, AND WHY?
I think the healthcare sector stands to gain significantly from data and AI across Africa. Given the scarcity of medical resources, particularly in Nigeria, predictive data models and computer vision can optimize inventory tracking and alert hospitals and pharmacies before critical supplies run out. This proactive monitoring could mean the difference between a patient receiving life-saving emergency care on time and not receiving it.
