This intermediate-level course is designed for data analysts and professionals looking to integrate AI into their existing workflows. You’ll learn to use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot and Copilot for Excel to accelerate data cleaning, analysis, coding, visualisation and reporting.

Through hands-on projects, you’ll learn to automate data tasks, validate AI insights, communicate findings, and deliver data-driven business solutions through a real-world capstone.

What You Need to Participate

To participate successfully in the programme, applicants should have:

1. Basic Python or SQL skills, spreadsheet proficiency, and foundational data analytics knowledge.
2. Access to ChatGPT or Claude. GitHub Copilot and Copilot for Excel require paid licences, with free alternatives available.
3. A good working laptop (8gb RAM or above, 1TB HDD or 256 SSD) and a stable internet connection.
4. A serene environment for virtual sessions
5. Ability to pursue the program full-time through either a hybrid format (3 days online, 1 day in-person) or a fully remote format (online evening classes).

2. Admissions Assessment **

Complete a short critical thinking and problem-solving assessment. This allows us to assess your aptitude for areas relevant to the program.

3. Admissions Interview **

Speak with an Admissions representative in a non-technical interview. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little better. Nothing technical - just a friendly conversation.

4. Admissions Decision

Receive your acceptance decision from Admissions. This usually happens within 3 business days.

5. Prework

If accepted, you'll complete self-paced pre-work exploring ChatGPT, setting up Google Colab, learning AI-assisted data analysis, and identifying a recurring data task for the program.
