I believe Africa’s financial services sector offers immense untapped potential for data and AI, especially with the rise of SMEs, mobile money, fintech, and informal markets. Leveraging this data can transform credit scoring, risk management, inclusion, fraud detection, and investment decisions. What excites me most is Blossom Academy’s people-centered approach, combining strong data capabilities with inclusive values. This culture shows how data and AI can drive sustainable growth and broader economic impact across the continent.
