I currently work as a data scientist in the Sales and Distribution space, where I focus on analyzing performance metrics and identifying key drivers of business outcomes. My responsibilities include building predictive models, performing statistical analysis, and developing dashboards to support decision-making. I work closely with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights that drive growth and operational efficiency.

Blossom Academy played a key role in preparing me for my career, especially through its internship opportunity, which gave me hands-on experience working on real-world data problems. This helped me apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, improve my analytical thinking, and gain confidence in delivering data-driven insights.

I would tell myself to fully embrace the learning process, stay consistent, and take advantage of every opportunity, especially the hands-on projects and internship experience, because they will shape your confidence and career growth.
WHICH INDUSTRY OR SECTOR IN AFRICA DO YOU BELIEVE HAS THE GREATEST UNTAPPED POTENTIAL FOR DATA & AI, AND WHY?
Agriculture has the greatest untapped potential for data and AI in Africa. It is a major sector but still under-digitized, and applying data can significantly improve productivity, decision-making, and market access.
